Cultural centre
The urbanistic landscape was enriched with the beautiful building of the House of Culture, in whose park was placed the bust of the philosopher Petre Tutea (originary from Boteni).
The House of Culture was the first architectural construction built in Mioveni, a successful harmony between the traditional and the modern styles and, since the 1985, it became the cultural heart of the citizens, by accommodating in its specialized halls litterary circles, classes, symposiums, gallery exibitions, along with a library containing more than 35 000 book volumes.
The House of Culture makes available, at your request, the hall “Dorel Manea”, with a capacity of 500 seats, for shows, conferences or different meetings.
For the artists (painting, sculpture, photography) who wish to exhibit their works, the House of Culture offers, at no cost, the picture rails located on the ground floor and on the 1st and 2nd floor foyers. For the sale exbitions, the institution offers the foyer located at the main entrance, with an area of 50 m2.
