Transfăgărăşanul (de la prefixul „trans” + Făgăraş) face parte din Drumul Naţional 7C (DN7C) şi este unul din cele mai spectaculoase drumuri din România, numit şi „drumul din nori”, care leagă regiunea istorică a Munteniei cu Transilvania. Drumul construit peste Munţii Făgăraş, cel mai înalt lanţ muntos din România, care face parte din Carpaţii Meridionali, este un drum asfaltat care în apropierea tunelului de lîngă Lacul Bâlea, ajunge la altitudinea de 2042 m. Transfăgărăşanul este situat pe locul al doilea ca altitudine în România după şoseaua Transalpina (DN67C) cu 2145 m din Munţii Parâng. Situata in statiunea Piscu Negru-Transfagarasan, Pensiunea Andres ofera turistilor o atmosfera linistita si relaxanta pentru a petrece o vacanta de neuitat. Pensiunea dispune de 7 camere duble matrimoniale, 4 camere triple si 2 apartemente, avand o capacitate de cazare de 34 de locuri. A fost prima resedinta a domnitorilor Tarii Romanesti si pastreaza traditia arhitecturii populare, fiind construita din pietre de rau; Cetatea-Poienari (la 2 km de Capatanenii Pamanteni, pe DN 7C), construita pe muntele Cetatuia de catre Vlad Tepes (sec.
